To the sea
The rocks in front of the villa.
The closest is the sea directly in front of the villa.
The coast there is rocky, not sandy. The rocks are steep and the descent is at your own risk.
Go down the stairs between the unfinished building and the unfinished house.
On the shore on the right there is a small cove with an anchored pontoon made of plastic blocks. The pontoon is privately owned. The owners do not agree the pontoon to be used by our guests. Please do not board the pontoon.
The beach Kavatsite.
The beach of Kavatsite is a wonderful place for swimming.
It takes about 10 minutes walking from the villa to reach the beach, as shown in the photo.
The northern part of the beach (near to the villa) is one of the quietest places on our coast - protected by the northeast wind called meltem.
This wind is often blowing in the summer months. It raises waves and is the reason for the closure of other beaches - a red flag.
The beach Alepu.
The beach is situated southward from Kavatsite on a sand scythe that separates Lake Aleppo from the sea. In its northern part is situated the holiday village of Duni.
As you pass Duni, you will find a 2 km long beach, which is in its bigger part unguarded and mostly sparsely populated.
But be careful - when it blows the wind meltem, big waves break on the beach, the bottom is stony and currents are formed in places, which pull inwards.
